Health Awareness Programme of DRF are aimed to educate individuals or communities about health-related

topics to promote well-being, prevent illnesses and disability.

1. Objective

Raise awareness about specific health issues (e.g., mental health, diabetes, cancer).
Promote healthy lifestyles (e.g., exercise, balanced diet, hygiene).
Encourage preventive measures (e.g., vaccinations, regular check-ups).

3. Topics to Cover

Physical Health: Exercise, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Mental Health: Stress management, depression awareness, and self-care. Chronic Diseases: Information about diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension.
Addictions: Substance abuse prevention and de-addiction resources.
Disability Awareness: Inclusive healthcare practices and resources.

5. Resources

Speakers: Physician, Specialist ( Child, Gayn & Obs, Neurologist, Cardiologist, Physiotherapist,Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Disability & Rehabilitation specialist,Eye, Dental, ENT etc.) Nutritionists, Psychologists, Nurses, Orthotics & Prosthetic, Fitness Expert ect.
Materials: Posters, brochures, banners, and health kits.
Venue: Accessible and spacious location for the event. Technology: Audiovisual equipment for presentations or videos.

7. Evaluation

Collect feedback from participants.
Measure success using surveys or attendance data.
